About

Hello! I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor with over ten years of experience supporting adults, teens, and children through a wide range of emotional and life challenges. I hold a Master of Arts in Professional Counseling and have worked in outpatient therapy, school-based mental health programs, and community settings. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and attuned to each person’s unique needs. I believe therapy should be a safe, steady space where individuals feel understood, supported, and empowered as they navigate life’s challenges and transitions.

Areas of Focus Include

  • Anxiety and Stress Management
  • Depression and Mood Disorders
  • Trauma and PTSD
  • Grief and Loss
  • Life Transitions and Adjustment Issues
  • Emotional Regulation and Coping Skills
  • Support for Children, Adolescents, and Adults
  • School-Related Stress, Bullying, and Family Challenges
  • Support for Veterans, Active-Duty Military, and Their Families

My Approach

I utilize trauma-informed, evidence-based therapeutic approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), attachment-focused work, mindfulness and somatic awareness, Internal Family Systems (IFS) concepts, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Earlier in my career, I worked extensively with women and families affected by domestic violence, sexual assault, and long-term trauma, as well as refugee and immigrant families navigating significant transitions. I also spent several years providing school-based therapy and five years supporting veterans and active-duty military members. For clients who desire it, I offer the option to integrate faith and spirituality into therapy in a respectful, client-led way. My goal is always to help clients build insight, emotional resilience, and practical tools that support meaningful and lasting change.
